2. Purpose and acceptance

This website provides information about our self-drive car hire service with pick-up and return at Alicante-Elche Airport and lets you send booking requests. Using the website makes you a user and means you accept these Terms of use.

3. Booking requests

• The booking form does not guarantee the booking. When we receive your request we check vehicle availability and send confirmation by email. The booking is only confirmed by that email.
• The booked vehicle belongs to a category; the model shown is for guidance ("or similar").
• Prices are shown in euros and include VAT. The final amount is the one stated in the confirmation.
• Users must provide true and complete details. Requests with false details may be cancelled.

4. Main rental conditions

• Driver: every driver holds a valid driving licence. Minimum age and driving experience are set out in the rental contract. At pick-up you show your licence and ID card or passport.
• Rental days: counted in 24-hour blocks from the pick-up time, with a 59-minute grace period. After that an extra day is charged.
• Insurance: all cars are registered as coche de alquiler with the approved AXA rental-car insurance. Full cover with no excess is included; no deposit is blocked on your card.
• Drivers: unlimited drivers with a valid licence, at no extra cost.
• Fuel: you receive the car with a full tank and return it full. Missing fuel is charged.
• Pick-up and return: at the rental car park of Alicante-Elche airport. The key is left in a secure key safe or handed over in person.
• Extras (child seats, GPS, etc.) are charged at the daily price shown when booking.
• The rental contract signed at pick-up contains the full terms and prevails over this general information.

5. Proper use of the website

Users agree not to use the website for unlawful purposes, not to introduce viruses or harmful code and not to try to access restricted areas such as the management panel.

6. Intellectual and industrial property

The texts, designs, logos, photographs and code of this website belong to Verhuur Si-Cars or its licensors. Reproduction, distribution or modification without prior written permission is prohibited.

7. Liability

We work to keep the information correct and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is error-free or that the website will be available without interruption. We are not responsible for the content of third-party websites linked from this site.

8. Data protection and cookies

Personal data processing is governed by our Privacy policy and the use of cookies by our Cookie policy.

9. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms of use are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts that have jurisdiction by law; if the user is a consumer, those of the user's place of residence.
